Art by Kurt Meyer Eberhardt
This stunning print was created using the traditional copper etching method. This unique way of creating art invloves carefully etching into a copper plate, this plate is later coated in ink and pressed onto a sheet to create a print. Certain prints also have colored backgrounds or accents which are inked by hand. Due to the handmade nature of these masterpieces, no print is identical for a truly unique piece.
These plates were done by acclaimed German artist Kurt Meyer Eberhardt who's best known for the wildlife studies he created while living in New York. After his passing, these plates were purchased by a German publishing house, where they continue to perserve Eberhardt's art to this day.
Please note, the picture in the listing has been enlarged to best show the detail of the print. Once framed, the print is matted and has a white border going around. They are signed by the publishing house as a true sign of authenticity.
