The Belsnickel.
These old fashioned looking St. Nicholas figures are
actually German Belsnickels.
Made in Bavaria, they are true reproductions of
Belsnickel candy containers made in Germany in
the 1800s and even earlier.

They are still made by hand in Bavaria and are
made of Paper Mache'. Most are still made as
candy containers.
