About The Artist

Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt was born in 1895 in Leipzig.
He studied at the Academy in Weimar under Lyonel Feininger.
He rejected a professorship in Weimar and went to Munich, where he devoted himself to animal painting.
Since 1917, his etchings were published in the Hanfstaengl Verlag in Munich.
Meyer-Eberhardt died in 1977 in Munich.

Copper Etching Technique

The drypoint is subtracted from the original created by Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt copper plate.
The color is applied and wiped off as it has adapted during the lifetime of the printer, the artist.

The etching is printed on hand-made ​​paper torn (340 g / m?, color chamois) and signed with an authorized signature reduction:
"Original Etching v. Meyer-Eberhardt".

Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt wurde 1895 in Leipzig geboren. Er studierte an der Akademie in Weimar unter Lyonel Feininger. Eine Professur in Weimar lehnte er ab und ging nach M?nchen, wo er sich ganz der Tiermalerei widmete. Seit 1917 wurden seine Radierungen im Hanfstaengl Verlag in M?nchen verlegt.
1977 verstarb Meyer-Eberhardt in M?nchen.

Die Kaltnadelradierung wird von der original von Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt geschaffenen Kupferplatte abgezogen.
Die Farben werden so aufgetragen und ausgewischt, wie es der K?nstler noch zu Lebzeiten mit dem Drucker abgestimmt hat.

Gedruckt wird die Farbradierung auf handgerissenes B?ttenpapier (340 g/qm, Farbton chamois) und mit autorisierter Nachlass-Signatur unterschrieben:
