The definition of "regent" is "one who reigns" or acts as head of state in the absence of a ruler, or while the ruler is incapacitated or unable to reign.
The talented Petra Mittener has taken artistic liberty to create her own Regent and Regentin from the exquisitely detailed and life like copper etchings of Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt.
A Bavarian artist of some renown, she has created only 250 of these pigment prints in this very special Limited Edition presentation.
Quickly becoming collector's items in Europe, the work is quite superb, apart from being whimsical and downright entertaining! Note the deep, rich colors with which she works.
Made in Germany by Blanc Verlag, heir to the legendary Hanfstaengel Verlag. Beautifully framed.
The Regent is numbered 22 of 250.
Size with frame:
23" x 27"3/4 tall.
