Want your children to know the Christmas spirit of your
childhood? This day is a step back in time.
Old fashioned Christmas Spirit is in the air as you stroll the village and grab a bite at one of our many local eateries, savor a hot toddy, shop at your leisure in our unique boutiques and shops. Take time to smell the, well, the horse apples? In this neck of the woods, perfume for the soul. It's just magical. Especially at Christmas
time.
The best place to view the activities is directly in front of The Christmas Sleigh, a magical place for children young and old. Arrive in time to see the Hunt cantering through town at 11:00 am. The
sight of formally attired Huntsmen high atop their elegant mounts and surrounded by exuberant hounds in the middle of the street is not to be missed. Later in the day the parade is a fun filled experience crammed full of four legged friends of all kinds, memorable floats and music, all culminating in a team of enormous Budweiser draft horses drawing a very special someone in a very special
coach. Pure magic.
For details go to Middleburgonline.com for all the exciting activities planned for this special day. Come for some of it. Come for all of it. But "Come Experience The Magic! "
Merry Christmas from Linda Tripp Rausch and Dieter H. Rausch |
